Music. Ta-da.

December 9, 2006

It's finally here, a completed song, with a description as well. I may post the lyrics soon but they aren't too hard to figure out, we annunciate quite well. Much better than Pearl Jam, at least. I can't understand a word that guy sings at times, it's sounds like some sort of foreign tongues language.

Shane and I have also changed our group name from "NKC", to "The Founders of the NKC". It's a very distinct change, and a much needed one at that. We don't want anyone getting confused, thinking that we're the only two members of our crew. It's a false assumption, as there are plenty of members, but we see how it could easily be taken that way. Since Shane and I are the founders of the group, and we're the only ones working on this album, we thought it'd be a fitting choice. Who knows, maybe one day we will release and album under the NKC name.

I'm also making a ton of uploads to fix a few things, if anything goes wonky, just let me know.

Awesome wiimote stuff and music near completions

A quick link to a few awesome homebrewed devices that turn a nintendo wiimote into a midi control device. Remember that the sound isn't perfectly in sync with the video so it might seem off at times, but both of the people in the videos vouch that the wiimote works pretty well. I'd love to be able to hook up my wiimote to play the drums, one instrument at a time (for myself at least), but still, it's get a good feel rather than pressing keys.

Shane and I also rerecorded the lyrics to our latest song successfully. I have a few volume issues in the chorus to work out, but I expect a song to be up within the week.

I also wrote a song for my niece Lana's birthday, and I have to re-sing the chorus, but other than that, it's a fully recorded song as well. This will hopefully be done within the week as well.
