The second song Shane and I have recorded for our upcoming album "The Demo Tape". I may be updating the beat with strings at a later date, but I like it for now. It's a decently dark beat, with a haunting synth. The song was just about us coming up with a bunch of concepts and tying them together. The title is almost self explanatory, and I'd rather let the rest of the song speak for itself. I really like the idea we came up with, and I'm quite proud of the effects and recording.

This song was quite fun to do, and since it was out first full-fledged recording in years, this song was probably the easiest to do as well. We take turns rhyming in lines of 4, so it was a lot easier for each of us to remember our lines. It's also given un the direction to base the rest of our tracks, as we want a lot of intertwined vocals in a verse, rather than a verse per person. Nick did guitar on this track a while back and we finally found a use for the beat, so props to Nick for recording this with me a long time ago.

The idea for this song was something "not dark". I realize that the bassline isn't in key for the vocals, it's a work in progress so far I may end up changing the bassline for the version with Nelly's Vocals. I do find the lead of this song to be quite infectious, and the clap is pretty hot too.

The idea for this song came after I made the synth patch, the synth was so full, I didn't need much else, so I grimed up some drums, and kept the song very minimal. I'm pleased with the results.

I usually don't do sample work, but I thought I'd give it a try. The intro to the song is instantly recognizable to any NIN fan. The mix itself (volume levels and panning) is pretty bad, but all I have at the moment is laptop speakers, so that's as good as it's getting.
