I am known as the entity Masheek Hype 5. I was born in June of 1981 and I didn’t know that I was destined to do this. Hell I still don’t know if I am or if we are. But I do know one thing, we run things when we put shit together and that’s why we finally decided to do this. I’ve been writting for quite some time now and I feel working on this album with Kawlinz has brought out the best material that I’ve ever written so far. I think we have what it takes to make it and right now we’re not going to stop for anyone. When I write my goal is to try and have the listeners envision what i’m saying and describing in my lyrics. I have a rather dark personality, but that doesn’t mean that I’m depressed all the time. I’m very light hearted

I think what we’re trying to do with this album is bring out a different sound to people and tune them into something that they haven’t heard of. But I plan not to be a trick pony, oh yes, I’m going to be learning the process of making my own music. When I feel that it is time for me to show people what I’m capable of, you’ll see it. We love music so much that we’re dedicated to what we do and I don’t think that will ever change. But with this album coming it is for the people out there to decide whether or not they want to be down with the NKC.
